Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading and using Unedo, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, and you acknowledge compliance with Apple’s Terms of Service and App Store Review Guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Use of the App

You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. For details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

4. Third-Party Services

We use third-party service providers to operate and improve the App. These providers fall into the following categories:

• Payment Processing. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and process In-App Purchases through Apple. RevenueCat may receive your purchase history, subscription status, and device identifiers.
• Analytics. We use Mixpanel to understand how users interact with the App. Mixpanel may collect behavioral data such as in-app events, session information, and device details.
• Email & Communications. We use Klaviyo to send transactional and marketing communications. Klaviyo may process your email address, engagement data, and audience segmentation information.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

5.1 In-App Purchases

The App offers subscription plans ("Unedo Passport") purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All billing is handled by Apple subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

5.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.

5.3 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple in accordance with their refund policy.

5.4 Free Trial

The App may offer a 7-day free trial of Unedo Passport. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the standard rate. You can cancel during the trial period at no cost through your Apple ID account settings.

5.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing at any time. Apple will notify you of price changes, and your continued use of the subscription after the change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

6. Communications

6.1 Transactional Communications

We may send you emails related to your account, subscription status, and App functionality. These are necessary for the operation of the service and cannot be opted out of.

6.2 Marketing Communications

With your consent, we may send promotional emails about new features, content, and offers. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at hola@unedo.com.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Unedo Editions & Studio, Inc. and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use any content without our prior written consent.

8. Feedback & Communications

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you send to us via email, direct message, App Store reviews, or other channels are provided voluntarily. By submitting such communications, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, and incorporate them into the App or our services without any obligation or compensation to you.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any activities that may harm the App or its users, including hacking, spreading malware, or engaging in fraudulent activities.

10. Beta Testing Terms

From time to time, we may invite you to test pre-release features or versions of the App ("Beta Features"). Participation is entirely voluntary. If you decide to join a beta program, the following terms apply:

10.1 Nature of Beta Features

You acknowledge that Beta Features may contain bugs, errors, and other issues. Beta Features are provided "as is," and we make no warranties regarding their functionality or performance.

10.2 Feedback

We welcome feedback about Beta Features. By submitting feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, and incorporate your feedback into the App without any obligation to you.

10.3 Confidentiality

You agree not to share any non-public information about Beta Features, including but not limited to unreleased functionality and performance details, with any third party without our prior written consent.

10.4 No Compensation

You acknowledge that participation in beta testing is voluntary and unpaid.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms. You can also terminate your account by following the instructions in the App.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

Unedo Editions & Studio, Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from (i) your use of the App; (ii) your inability to access or use the App; (iii) any unauthorized access or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be held in Sacramento, California.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. You are advised to review these Terms periodically for any changes. Changes to these Terms are effective when they are posted on this page.

17. Apple Terms

You acknowledge and agree that:

• These Terms are between you and Unedo Editions & Studio, Inc. only, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Unedo Editions & Studio, Inc., not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for the App.
• In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
• In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your use of the App infringes a third party's intellectual property rights, Unedo Editions & Studio, Inc., not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

18. Age Restrictions

This App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the App or provide any personal information. Parents and guardians should supervise their children's use of the App.
